3rd Party Claims Page

Were you in an accident with a Better Insurance Client?

You have options.

Before you get excited, here are some basic filters we apply to all Claims:

We treat those who are in accidents with our Clients just like we treat our Clients.  Our primary purpose for existence is to ensure that we do everything within our abilities to make you whole if our Client is at fault, and to cover damages and basic recovery above and beyond what your insurance company covers if you are at fault.

There is no such thing as a no-fault accident unless an act of nature outside of driver control caused the accident.  Should an issue of fault determination arise, the first step we take is receiving the Claims forms from you and our Client, and dispatching an investigator before anything else happens.

The fastest. easiest way to ensure your claim is processed and you are taken care of is to tell the truth.  Being at fault does not change the cost of what it takes to repair vehicles or recover.  Recovery must happen no matter what - that is why we exist.  Lying about anything that occurred - that is where we draw the line, along with excessive or fraudulent demands in a claim.  Tell the truth - even if you were at fault - and we will make it right as reasonably as possible.

If your Claims submission is faulty, error-laden, contains fraudulent estimates or accounting of events, or any other deviation from an honorable, forthright claim, an investigation is automatically triggered.  For truthful, complete claims submitted with all the proper documentation, we do our best to resolve those claims within 48-72 hours.  Investigations equal more time to process the claim.  Do it right, get it done.  For those who are honest, life is very simple.  For the rest, we are 100% unconcerned with your sense of urgency if your honor, attention to detail, or intentions are in violation of our standards, common sense, and basic decency.

If you were driving under the influence when you had your accident, we will prosecute you to the fullest extent of the law.  We won't sue you for money - our goal will be license revocation and permanent assignment to public transportation or rideshare options.  If you are a chemically dependent idiot that doesn't care about the lives of everyone else on the road, you don't belong on our roads.

You have a right to an attorney to represent you, or even to file suit against us.  When that scenario is approached honorably, we do everything we can to negotiate in good faith and achieve the best outcome.  Should you hire an ambulance-chasing grifter looking for a huge payout, we will not only fight your claim to the death with our legal team, but we will do our level-best to get your ambulance chaser in front of an ethics board, reviewed, and disbarred for every lie and false or malicious statement they make during the course of this process.

We aren't just here to make insurance better.  We are here to overthrow the corruption in the system using the system against itself to maximum effect.  Lawyers are one of the main reasons why your insurance costs are rising every year, and in all fairness, greedy idiots and mismanaged insurance companies created the need for lawyers to get involved in the first place.  We understand the problems, which is why we were established as Better Insurance.

We don't tolerate grift, graft, fraud, waste, abuse, or mismanagement of any kind when it comes to protecting the interests, risks, and monetary pools of our Clients.  If our Clients attempt fraud or other dishonorable means via a claim, we terminate their contract and permanently bar them from ever being a Client again.  That principle holds for third party claimants as well.  Do it right, or we will ensure you never have a positive interaction with us.

We are purposefully harsh toward grifters and liars.

Everyone else merits respect and solutions.

The Process

SECTION 2 - WHAT YOU CAN SUBMIT

Document everything.  Submit it all at once.

Our third-party claims portal accepts the same documentation our own members use.  You don't need an attorney to organize your submission (but you are free to have an attorney represent you at any time) - just gather what you have and upload it.

You can submit any combination of the following:

  • Repair estimates & invoices

  • Photos of damage

  • Towing receipts

  • Rental car receipts

  • Medical Bills - current and on-going

  • Emergency room visits

  • Follow-up care

  • Physical therapy

  • Prescriptions

  • Any treatment directly resulting from the accident

  • Documentation of missed work

  • Employer verification

  • Pay stubs showing income reference

  • Any personal property damaged in the accident beyond your vehicle - equipment, cargo, personal items

  • Police report

  • Accident scene photos

  • Witness statements

  • Other relevant records - news reports, video, etc.

Submit everything at the same time to give our Ops Center or the adjuster the full picture from day one.  The more complete your submission, the faster your review moves, the quicker the claim is paid out.

SECTION 3 - WHAT HAPPENS NEXT

Here's Exactly What to Expect After You Submit

We don't believe in black holes.  When you submit your claim, here is what happens:

Step 1 - Immediate Confirmation

You receive an automated confirmation the moment your submission is received.  Your claim is logged, timestamped, and assigned.

Step 2 - Adjuster Contact Within 48 Hours

A licensed Better Insurance adjuster will contact you directly within 48 hours of your submission to introduce themselves, confirm your documentation, and outline next steps.

Step 3 - Review and Assessment

Your adjuster reviews your full submission, assesses the claim against the incident record, and works toward a fair resolution as quickly as the facts allow.

Step 4 - Resolution

Once your claim is assessed, your adjuster presents resolution options directly to you.  No intermediaries.  No unnecessary delays.

SECTION 4 - YOUR RIGHTS

We Want You to Know Where You Stand

Better Insurance believes in transparency - even when it isn't required.

You have the right to legal representation at any point in this process.  Nothing about submitting your claim through this portal waives that right or limits your legal options.  If at any point you choose to involve an attorney, we will work with them directly.

We are not asking you to give up anything. We are offering you a faster, simpler path - one that keeps more of your settlement in your hands and gets you to resolution sooner.

The choice is entirely yours.  We just want to make sure the direct option is easy to find, use, and achieve results.

SECTION 5 - IF YOU WERE IMPAIRED AT THE TIME OF THE ACCIDENT

Do Not Use This Portal to Avoid Accountability

If you were impaired by alcohol, drugs, or any substance at the time of the accident involving a Better Insurance member, this portal is not a path to quiet resolution.

Better Insurance will pursue full recovery of all damages paid to our member - including vehicle damage, medical costs, lost wages, and all associated claims - directly against you.

We will cooperate fully with law enforcement, prosecutors, and civil attorneys representing our Client.  We will provide all documentation, adjuster findings, and claim records to support every available legal avenue.

This is not a threat. It is a policy.

If you were impaired, do not submit here expecting settlement.  Expect accountability.
