How We Ensure Quality
If you've made it this far, you know Better Insurance is different than every other insurance company. It's not even close. Most of you signed up to get 40% back every year you drive safely without a wreck or major claim. That's the easy part.
What happens when things go wrong?
How do you know who to count on? How do you know the shade tree mechanic isn't a better option than the dealer, or vice versa? How do you know you aren't being ripped off by a greedy tow truck driver, or that the body shop is doing full repairs instead of Bondo and paint that will smudge in the next rain shower?
Most people wouldn't have a clue they didn't get their money's worth until something breaks.
How do we ensure quality and professional service in your time of need? Through organizational assessment and customer feedback that is specific, measurable, actionable, realistic, and timely.
We measure results, analyze trends, do industry comparisons on pricing, and evaluate customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and growth.
When it comes to quality, there are three voices that matter to us:
-
The voice of the customer - our Clients
-
The voice of the business - our Preferred Vendors
-
The voice of principle - our Standards (value for cost, principle over profit)
Those who are good at business appreciate feedback that helps them improve - whether the change comes from improved performance, organization, communication, or correcting errors once discovered.
Performance Standards & Rating System
Better Insurance evaluates all Affiliates / Preferred Vendors using a triangulated assessment system - combining Vendor self-reporting, customer feedback, and our own audits to ensure you're receiving the best service available.
How We Rate Preferred Vendors & Affiliates
Every affiliate is scored on specific evaluation criteria across five categories:
-
Performance - Quality, timeliness, certifications, documentation
-
Professionalism - Honesty, integrity, organization, cooperation
-
Pricing - Fair, competitive, transparent, value-driven
-
Customer Satisfaction - Communication, responsiveness, problem-solving
-
Results - Problem resolution, warranty, first-time fix rate
Each Preferred Vendor's overall rating comes from three sources:
-
Vendor Self-Assessment (33%)
-
Customer Feedback (33%)
-
Better Insurance Assessment (33%)
This means no single angry customer or coordinated attack can destroy a good Vendor's reputation - and no Vendor can game the system by inflating their own scores.

What This Means for Clients
When you need service, you can filter by rating to find the best partners in your area. Elite Preferred partners have consistently delivered excellent results - they've earned that status through performance and merit.
What This Means for Preferred Vendors
Your rating determines your payment speed and referral priority:
-
Elite Preferred: Paid same-day upon invoice receipt
-
Preferred: Paid within 48-72 hours
-
Acceptable: Paid within 5-7 business days, improvement plan required, transactions and results carefully monitored for anomalies and inconsistencies
-
Probation: Split payment (50/50) - 50% upfront for parts/materials, 50% upon completion with photo documentation and client sign-off, follow-up with Client mandatory
Excellence is rewarded. Mediocrity has consequences. With Better Insurance, it pays to be a good driver - it also pays to be an honorable service provider.
Protection from Fraud & Cancel Culture
We protect our partners from:
-
Fake reviews (only verified customers can review)
-
Coordinated attacks (automatic fraud detection)
-
Professional victims (we remove serial complainers)
-
Political targeting (manual review authority to remove fraudulent feedback)
-
Competitor sabotage (Slanderous rivals flagged and removed)
We protect our clients from:
-
Overcharging (pricing audits, market comparisons)
-
Poor workmanship (triangulated scoring, not just self-reporting)
-
Dishonest vendors (integrity violations = immediate removal)
To be exceedingly clear upfront: The problem could very well be the entitled scumbag of a customer that is a grifter and professional victim. We don't tolerate that kind as our Client either. In fact, one of our core standards is: The customer is only right when they're right.
We don't care about individual complaints from a ne'er do well that complains about everything. We care about the repeat offenses that establish trends and cost time, money, and honor. Correct those upfront, and that is what exemplifies the winning mentality of a Preferred Vendor. If a Better Insurance Client is disrespectful without cause, dishonest, or is running a scam, you have an obligation to report them to us as well.
The bottom line: It is a privilege to work with you as much as it is to work with us. You want to get paid in a timely fashion commensurate with the labor you put into each job. We want to pay people for excellent performance and service done honorably without exception. Together we can make all of that happen.
Medical & Legal Services
How Medical Claims Work:
For accident-related injuries, Better Insurance pays medical bills directly - just like we pay your mechanic. You get treatment, you send the bill with your claim (or the provider bills us for follow-up care), and we pay it.
For complex or long-term care needs, we may connect you with our Christian healthcare partners who specialize in managing extended medical cases.
Our Medical Partners:
-
Medi-Share - Christian cost-sharing for medical expenses
-
Christian Healthcare Ministries - Faith-based healthcare sharing
-
OneShare - Affordable Christian healthcare alternative
Legal Support:
-
Honest, Non-Exploitative Attorneys (TBD) - For serious accidents requiring legal representation
-
We cover all reasonable costs directly related to your accident claim
-
If billed costs exceed reasonable rates, we contact all parties to verify charges before processing payment
-
The first line of resolution is mediation
-
Using ambulance-chasing attorneys to inflate your payout results in immediate termination per your contract
-
Use reason, avoid fraud, and do the right thing
Consumer Protection
Better Insurance maintains a blacklist of vendors and affiliates who have attempted to defraud us or the Client through inflated billing, corrupt business practices, shoddy materials, incomplete work, or fraudulent charges.
We publish this information on our website to protect our clients and the broader community. If a provider tries to steal from the claims pool, you deserve to know - so you can avoid them.
Collusion between Clients and Vendors to inflate insurance payouts will result in blacklisting for the vendor, termination of contract and forfeiture of funds for the client, and permanent barment from Better Insurance products, services, accounts, or connections.
